Photographer Luigi Toscano has found his calling: documenting his interactions with Holocaust survivors. On June 22, 1941, Germany invaded Russia and killed and wounded over 600,000 Red Army members. Many of these women suffered terrible survivors guilt. These rebel women had Polish, Hebrew, and Yiddish names, as well as nicknames.
